Hotel Description

The elegant and refined Hotel Ariston & Palazzo Santa Caterina is located at the bottom of the ancient Greek Theater of Taormina, amid a century-old park with lush Mediterranean vegetation. It is just 400 mts. from the historical center and offers stunning views over the easthern Ionic Sicilian coast, ideal starting point for selected customers seeking for privacy, for whom takes the chance to attend to some cultural events or live the Taorminian "Movida". The Hotel Ariston offers all commune areas (restaurant, reception, bar), in addition to 119 rooms of different categories; the Palazzo Santa Caterina is only approx. 50 mts. from the Hotel Ariston and has 27 rooms, all deriving from the complete restructuring of the ancient palace.

The 119 rooms in Hotel Ariston and the 27 rooms in Palazzo Santa Caterina are of different categories, all modernly furnished with ensuite bath or shower, hairdryer, telephone, TV sat., minibar, safety deposit box, tea & coffee maker, air conditioning (available during hot season and at Management’s discretion)

DAV - Double/twin Superior room with panoramic seaview: they are completely refurbished and offer following exclusive facilities: bathrobe and slippers, sat. TV LCD with DVD-player, free softdrinks in the minibar, luxury bathroom toilettries; a nice welcome present: one bottle of sparkling wine and fresh fruit

DD - Double/twin rooms with balcony or terrace towards the sea in the Palazzo Santa Caterina

DBV - Double/twin room with balcony and seaview, with following new facilities: bathrobe, slippers and sat. TV LCD; fresh fruit as a nice welcome present

DA - Double/twin room with seaview, no balcony, offers following exclusive new facilities: bathrobe, slippers and sat. TV LCD; fresh fruit as a nice welcome present

The recent reorganisation of our restaurants satisfies many demands, such as having breakfast late in the morning or choosing from a menu à la carte
- Buffet breakfast from 7am to 11am in the main restaurant or in the panoramic terrace (or on request in room) with a wide choice of hot and cold food, fresh juices and hot and fresh drinks
- A la carte restaurant with a rich choice of typical Sicilian delicacies

DEPOSIT	We do not require any deposit. In order to definitely book we need a valid credit card number with expiration date and holder's name as a guarantee. We will not charge any amount, excluding a cancellation penalty below indicated, and you will pay your stay at check out - we do not accept checks, we do accept all major credit cards, both for the booking and for the payment on resort (for a minimum amount of € 50).

CANCELLATIONS AND CANCELLATION FEES	The cancellation of a reservation within 7 days before arrival and the no-show foresee the charge of the first night. In case of delayed arrival or earlier departure a maximum of 3 nights will be charged.

Important Information

PRICES AND SERVICES Our Prices are in Euro (€) per room per night and include: service, VAT (should VAT percentage change, rates will be recalculated accordingly, with retroactive effect), free use of all outdoor and indoor pools, free use of sunbeds and sunshades, fitness equipment and animation programs. Potential tourism tax not included, shall be paid directly in resort. Not included, unless specified, is use of garage, tennis courts, minigolf, tennis lessons, riding and bikes tours, boats and pedalò rentals, the use of football and volleyball fields outside the animation programs and what else specified in every single hotel description. Half board arrangement includes overnight, breakfast and dinner (lunch is not included). Drinks during dinner and taken in all different hotel bars are not included (unless specified). CHILDREN Children’s reductions (see each price list) only apply to children sharing room with two full paying pax (unless different specified). LIABILITY Parc Hotels Italia declines any liability for direct or indirect damages clients could suffer such as loss or theft of objects, illnesses or incidents while using the hotel equipment or during the entertainment program, possible strikes which could delete the arrival or the departure which cannot be directly imputed to the hotel staff or that could happen during the stay, transfer to or from the hotel. VALUES At hotel receptions you may change major foreign currencies, Travellers cheques and Eurocheques. PETS Pets are allowed in our hotels/residences under following conditions: max. weight 10 kg. not allowed in restaurants, bars, pools and any other commune area CHECK IN Daily arrivals and departures. Rooms/apartments are available from approx. 3pm. CHECK OUT On departure day rooms/apartments have to be left within 10am, or an extra day will be charged.
